Accidental Love, Now Coming Soon!

My next release, the M/M college roommates novella Accidental Love, is now coming soon at Amber Allure! Part of the Hot College Daze series, it’ll be out on Sunday, February 5. Yay!

College roommates Greg and Keith are polar opposites when it comes to relationships. Greg equates sex with the alcohol and drugs he gave up, while Keith protects his heart by keeping sex strictly casual. At first, neither Greg nor Keith realizes the other is gay, but once they get to know each other better, they feel drawn together, and their developing attraction makes each of them reevaluate his stance on relationships.

Keith starts out thinking he only wants a roommates-with-benefits arrangement, something more than his usual weekend flings but still casual, yet soon he begins to feel more for Greg. Greg’s afraid of what he’s feeling because he has trouble mentally separating sex from the other bad habits that had nearly ruined his life.

Greg’s fears leave him spooked by an impromptu kiss following a game of one-on-one basketball, but that’s nothing compared with how he feels after a dinner date ends with the two men having sex. To help bring Greg back from the edge, Keith opens up his heart, but will it be enough to allow them to move forward together?

Now Available: Sand & Water

Excerpt from Sand & Water

Sand & Water, which comes out on Monday, is my first published novel. I’ve always been much more of a short story writer, but a couple years ago, I decided to give National Novel Writing Month a try. I don’t know why the structure works for me, but it does. The first year, I wrote 53,000 words on a fanfiction project, and last year, I wrote 63,000 on Sand & Water. I finished the first draft a month later. My plan for this year is to finish at least one book of a trilogy I’ve been developing.

In this excerpt, John who’s, a widower raising his young daughter, takes her to the park, where he meets Bryan. The two men strike up a friendship, but it won’t be long until it develops into more. Enjoy. 🙂

Six Sentence Sunday: Sand & Water

Missed last week because I was traveling and internet-less, but back for this week’s Six Sentence Sunday with a paragraph from my upcoming first novel, Sand & Water.

Bryan’s fingers brushed over the light stubble along John’s jaw, and his thumb rubbed the edge of John’s chin. The light touches sent tingles across John’s skin, raising goosebumps like a cool breeze on a warm day. His body wanted more, the desire and arousal inside him begging to be set free, but he tamped it down. Slow and steady, he told himself. This feels amazing. Enjoy every moment.

Six Sentence Sunday: The Christmas Spirit

Jumping into the Six Sentence Sunday fray with a sample from the Christmas-themed story I just finished, titled “The Christmas Spirit.”

I follow Cord’s gaze, and just a few yards away, at the dark edge of the dance floor, I finally see myself. I’ve got my hands in the back pockets of some guy whose name I don’t know, with another body pressed up behind me. This time I can’t remember what happened next. Neither of the men looks familiar, and it’s at that moment I realize how few of the men I’ve bedded—or walled, or chaired, or whatever—have been memorable enough for me to recall their names, much less their faces. Stick it in a hole long enough to get off; that’s been enough for me.

Suddenly it doesn’t seem like enough anymore, and I’m ashamed to watch myself doing it.
