Release Day for “Chicago”!

It’s another release day! Dreamspinner’s 2011 Daily Dose set, First Time for Everything, is out today. Those who bought the set in advance will get a story a day all month long, or you can buy any of the individual stories starting today. You can also still purchase the full set, at a 32% discount off the individual sale prices.

My contribution to the set is the short story “Chicago.” The blurb:

Darren Lowell and Nathan Thomas are at loose ends in the Windy City. Darren came to visit his boyfriend, but after one too many insults, he dumped the conceited jerk and is taking some time to clear his head. Nathan just left the military and has a few days free before settling down into civilian life and beginning the job-search grind. A chance meeting in a hotel lobby that progresses into a spectacular night will make Chicago a whole lot more interesting for them both. First up, Dreamspinner is now taking pre-orders for the First Time for Everything Daily Dose set, which will give you a story a day for the month of June. Right now, you can get the whole set for just $39.99! Prices go up as the release date approaches, so order early. Individual stories, including my story “Chicago,” will go on sale in June.

And my other bit of news: I have a contract on my novel! Sand and Water is tentatively set for a late summer release (also with Dreamspinner). More details as I have them!
