Saturday evening, I had a real-live-in-person book release party for Unfortunate Son, graciously hosted by Burkhart’s here in Atlanta. My cover model, Travis Irons, was on hand along with his awesome boyfriend, and a bunch of wonderful friends from the area came by. Oh yeah, and I sold some books! 🙂
A few pics from the evening. Wish everyone could’ve been there!

Speaking of Love Bytes, their reviewer Cindy gave Unfortunate Son an awesome 5-star review. Thank you so much!
And, for anyone near Atlanta, tomorrow night I’ll be throwing a book release party and signing at Burkhart’s at Ansley Square. Cover model Travis Irons will be there, and we’ll both be available to sign books. Come on out and say hi!

Amazon and AllRomance buy links are now active for Butt Babes in Boyland (in addition to the direct Wilde City link). So now you can pick up the book with a free ARe code, LOL. (For those wondering, the book will be available in print too, but I don’t know that publication date yet.)
The next butt-thology, Butt Riders on the Range, is in production and will be out in the spring. My story is “Faux Cowboy.”
Did you see the gorgeous cover for my January 12 release, Unfortunate Son?? You can preorder a copy, too!
I’ve just submitted the final manuscript file and a cover art spec sheet for Wayward Son, so that process is moving along. May/June is the release date!
I’m mostly taking Christmas week off. I have one production request to take care of by the end of the weekend, but after that, I’m not worrying about anything writing-related for a week. And I’m teleworking for the day job on Monday and Tuesday, but then I’ll be off for the holiday. Looking forward to the break! 🙂
And we’re up a little early!!
This is a cover reveal two and a half years in the making. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you…

Five years ago, Evan Day lost his lover in the Afghan sand, and in the fallout, he lost his military career and his family. With help from friends, he reinvented himself as porn star Trevor Hardball, but his scars are hidden, not healed. When Riley Yeats falls into Evan’s lap in a bar, he awakens a part of Evan he’d thought was dead and gone. Evan’s fascinated by the blond and twinky Riley, even though he’s the opposite of Evan’s usual type.
Then Evan’s family reappears his life, and Evan soon learns Riley has his own family-inflicted wounds—ones that make it hard for him to be there for Evan. A disastrous confrontation between Evan and his parents leaves Evan’s mother injured and Evan overcome by anger and fear. Losing his tenuous hold on his emotional control, Evan makes one bad decision after another, but maybe his final fall will be the wake-up call Evan needs to set things right—with his parents, and with Riley.

For those who missed my celebration on social media, I’ve just signed the contract for Wayward Son, to be published in May/June 2015 by Dreamspinner Press. This will be my third (!!!) novel and is the second in the Sons series, the sequel to Unfortunate Son, which releases on January 12, 2015. Wayward Son is also my first novel-length ménage (M/M/M) story.
Here is the (very, very preliminary blurb):
After his move to Atlanta and away from the influence of his conservative parents, Mikey O’Malley finally feels free to be himself: art student, aspiring animator, and out gay man. He has friends, a new job, and not one, but two men interested in him. Cory Lassiter and Jimmy Black have been a happy couple for years, occasionally bringing a twink into their bed, but only for a brief roll in the hay. When Mikey meets the pair, the attraction is immediate, and it runs three ways. Mikey just can’t believe they’d have room in their lives for a permanent addition.
When Mikey’s newfound life is shattered by a lawsuit that accuses him of molesting a child years earlier, Mikey’s determined to face his troubles on his own, but Cory and Jimmy are just as determined that he not have to go it alone. To reconcile his need for independence and his desire for love, Mikey has to learn that being a man isn’t just about standing on your own two feet. It’s about letting yourself lean on the ones who love you.
Now: on to book 3! 🙂
Two bits of writing news to share…
First, last week I signed the contract for All in a Day’s Work, an author-driven anthology that will be published in the fall by Dreamspinner Press. My story is “Ice Cream Dreams,” about a college guy helping out in his uncle’s ice cream shop and the up-and-coming young chef who comes in looking for ideas for his new restaurant.
Second, on Friday I submitted my novel Unfortunate Son, which will be book 1 in the Sons series, currently slated for three books (also with Dreamspinner). Tentative publication date will be January/February 2015, and I’m hard at work on book 2, Wayward Son.
(I rewarded myself for submitting by finally buying Amy Lane’s Ethan in Gold. \o/)
I’m also working on my next butt-themed anthology, which deals with pumpkin pie and sex toys. You know, your average Thanskgiving. 😉 A third Sons novel and another butt story will follow.
And then we’ll see what 2015 brings. 🙂
(P.S. I keep a running tally of my projects under the Works in Progress tab, so check in whenever you like!)
