For this week’s Six Sentence Sunday, here’s a little first-kiss snippet from the second Christmas-season short I’m trying to get finished up and submitted this week. With everything else I have going on, it’s going to be pretty tough. Wish me luck. 🙂
Neal shuddered against him, but he didn’t pull away, instead tucking his face into Jeff’s chest. Eventually, he slid his own arms around Jeff’s waist, tugging them even closer, and Jeff closed his eyes and tried to hold back a shiver that had nothing to do with the temperature. He wasn’t entirely successful, though, and he felt Neal stop breathing for a few seconds.
Slowly, Neal lifted his head, and their gazes met, faces just inches apart. Jeff didn’t ponder what he was about to do. He just moved one hand to the back of Neal’s head and pulled him in for a kiss.
