It’s all kinds of appropriate that I’m throwing an anniversary party tomorrow. Four years ago tomorrow—August 2, 2010—I got “the call,” in the form of an email from the fabulous Elizabeth North at Dreamspinner Press, offering me a contract for my first novella, Model Student.
It’s been a hell of a ride since then. I couldn’t begin to thank everyone who’s been involved in this journey I’ve been taking (because I know I’d forget someone!), but a good place to start would be my ever-awesome beta readers Dani and Kat, plus everyone else who’s edited for me; all the staff at Dreamspinner, Wilde City, and my other publishers; and all the friends, readers, and fellow authors who’ve kept me going.
